I’ve been playing the piano since age 8. In high school and college, I made extra money playing background music for dinners and receptions. Then I was a church keyboardist/pianist for a number of years. These days, I play old hymns once a month for a lovely congregation in an assisted living facility.
Playing the piano has always been a joy, but it’s more challenging now due to lupus. After I was diagnosed in 2011, I decided to go ahead and record a few songs as a “thank you” to my parents for all the years of lessons and support. Here are a few of my favorites. I hope you enjoy them!
